Hardware Requirements

Minimum Requirements are:

• Pentium III Processor or better
• Operating System - Windows XP Professional SP2 (recommended) or Windows 2000
• 512 MB RAM (more is recommended for better performance)
• 500 MB Hard Drive Free Space
• 100 Base T network card (Ethernet)
• CD-ROM or DVD Drive
• 17" Super VGA display with minimum 1024 x 768 resolution
• Dedicated Server - Each user must be logged into the same domain or
• Peer-to-peer - each user must have access to host computer

• Networked Laser Printer w/ 3 trays (Not including manual feed tray) - if you choose to print tickets using 2 color NCR paper

Special Notes regarding Microsoft’s Vista Operating System:

At this time we do not recommend using Vista if possible. Most independent computer companies can still obtain Windows XP Professional version for your new computers.

Although not recommended, TCR Software can be installed on a workstation running Vista, but should not be the main operating system for the server or hosting computer.

In order to efficiently run a workstation with Vista Operating System, the minimum requirements are:

• Vista Business version
• Core 2 Dual Processor or similar
• 2 GB RAM
• 160 GB hard drive
• 20 GB of free hard disk space
• Windows Aero-capable graphics card
• 128 MB graphics memory
